A Community Event
Join Pattagansett Art Center on May 9th from 11am–4pm at the East Lyme Community Center 41 Society Rd, Niantic, CT 06357 for a day of celebration, inspiration, and meaningful connections among artists, environmentalists, educators, neighbors, and friends. BLOOM brings together arts, environmental learning, and wellness in a vibrant community gathering. The program features hands-on arts and environmental classes, presentations, native animal meet and greets, and a gallery experience. Guests can explore gratitude offerings while browsing boutique local vendors, native animal interactions, and community organizations, all celebrating creativity, health, and local charm.
MISSION
Pattagansett Art Center is an Artist run, creative community-centered organization rooted in the practice of wellness and environmentally sustainable models created through the Arts.
We accomplish our mission through intentional collaboration with diverse groups of Artists, makers, cultural practitioners, creatives and the greater community.
GOALS
Immersed in a natural woodland environment, our center builds and supports communities in harmony with nature through engagement in innovative social practices. We provide professional facilities, studios, skillshares, facilitation and mentorship to artists and audiences.
VISION
PAC will host a creative cultural space where communities can participate in, view, and support the Arts. We realize this model through sustainable practices centered in personal growth and collective wellness. We will reach these goals through: Workshops, courses, retreats, residencies, events, exhibitions, performances, contemporary and traditional art collections, and tours.
